so i got up this morning, got completely ready for work, left over 10 minutes early (really giving myself over 20 minutes since i always get there early) -- within a minute, my windshield was ICED over (my car had been in the garage)...i only started to slide once! you can't see the lines of the road, i saw NO SALT TRUCKS!
i got not even half way to work and they did a traffic report on the radio -- dozens of accidents, and a bunch were on the road i need to take!! so i turned at the closest light, called one of the people i work with, and said "i am not going to be there today - the roads suck!" so i slowly drove home, and THEN i get a call saying "NO SCHOOL!"
so i have the day to do as i please, but i am up and ready and probably not going to go back to sleep (maybe a nap later, lol)...

Unfortunately, Evan does have school today! At least we are in walking distance. Crazy!!
