so last night i was watching one of the hour long news programs....they were talking about hurricane katrina (like everyone else is doing right now)...the anchor was talking with the "mayor" or new orleans, ray nagin.
the anchor asked nagin WHY the houses had not been bulldozed/rebuilt/etc a year later....nagin replied "look at new york. it has been 5 years and there is still a giant hole in the ground"...that DISGUSTED me!! how can you compare an act of God/natural disaster in the form of a hurricane to the largest terrorist attack in US history!? how can you compare a storm that there was advanced warning for (that the "mayor" paid no heed to) to four planes crashing because of terrorists and hate? WTF?!!?!? that man needs to apologize to the rest of society, because what he said is hurtful and HATEful to every person in this nation because EVERY person in this nation was hurt on 9/11...
