i am such a slacker & scrapbook challenge

ok, it has been over a month since i blogged. i am a blog fail. i slacked all month. i think it is a mixture of a lot of things -- spring that was not coming, inches (and feet) of rain, flooded roads, lack of funds to do much, lack of forward progress in the job hunt...anything that would motivate me was just not happening in april...sad, i know...

now, onto the challenge!!!

DID YOU USE SPRING COLORS DURING APRIL??? i have one set of cards that i did using flowers and some bright springy colors (and another set that i have also slacked on using only spring colors/inspiration, lol)...whether you did or not, COMMENT ON THIS POST for a chance to win!!! i still need to hook up with leah so she can get her prize!

onto the MAY CHALLENGE -- let's get ready for summer & create using tropical/bright colors -- hot pink, lime green, sunshine-y yellow, tropical blue...

Becky, understand what you're saying. I've been sort of slacking myself and haven't really scrapped but did last nite. No tropical colors tho I am getting ready to do some Florida beach pictures of my grandsons from last summer. I was in town on Wednesday this week and should have made arrangements to have you drop at FKS but didn't remember to do it in advance. I promise I will very soon. Hope your job hunt makes a positive turn soon!

Becky - I have used a combination of both spring colors and bright summer colors this month! I made some great folders to hold my TS catalogs, order forms, and any flyers with specials on them. The folders are a perfect size to fit in my purse without getting anything "extra" stuck inside them (like my Hobby Lobby receipt!). This way, I have everything I need on hand when one of my kids' teachers says, "Oh, you're a Tastefully Simple Consultant?" And since the Spring-Summer TS theme is FIESTA, I've been using FIESTA colors!

Finally cropped on Friday nite at the church for several hours. Good to get back in the saddle again. Started cropping the Florida pictures of the Grandsons, lots of beach pictures and those colors always give me energy. Came home and on Saturday decided my scrap room needed to be rearranged and cleaned. Feels so much better in here now that I hope to get lots done in the coming days. Keep scrappin!
