just for my little buddy evan -- we have the same favorite dinosaur -- the mighty velociraptor! evan also likes the big man on campus -- the t-rex!
my dorky ice cream eating....
i am a dorky person when it comes to eating ice cream.
i have a blue plasic bowl with a straw attached to drink up the melted goodness (actually 2, but i can only use one at a time, lol)
i have a short plastic spoon that came in a box of cereal many moons ago that changes color when it gets cold -- it goes from yellow to red -- and it has cindy lou who on the top...i have another one that changes from green to red...
i like eating my ice cream with those!! they make it taste so so much better!!!

my day o' shopping...
last night's party at mary jo's was fun! we made 2 cute cards...i bought a couple things -- the SU! tag maker set (cute lunch box with a tag punch, stamps & ink pads)...i also got some clear buttons and spent enough to get a free set of stamps (more tag stamps!) THANK YOU MARY JO!!!
i went shopping today like i said i would...
dick's sporting goods was the place for me today -- a pair of rollerblades (on sale), a set of knee pads/elboww pads/wrist guards, a helmet and a mountain style bike (on sale) with a 2 year warrenty...
then i went to hobby lobby to get some adhesive because it was 1/3 off...and i got a big bag o' foam brushes -- 50 for $4 -- to use with my foam stamps...then i can use & toss...i hate washing bruches!!
next was target where i got soda (4 12-packs for $10!), a cool monogram magnet, some face wash and a new phone...
then i came home :)
all the laundry is done -- i have a load that is sitting in the dryer waiting to come up, but this is the first time in a long time were all the laundry was done in just one day...
toodles!!

bored....
i have just been bored & lazy this week...
monday was professional development at work...BLECK!
tuesday on has just been work work work!! the kids have been bad listeners the past 2 days...GRRRRRRRRRRR
tonight i am going to an SU party that my friend Mary Jo is having! woohoo!! get to see some cool stamps & play :)
not sure what is going on this week, i am hoping to go see "Harry Potter & the Goblet of Fire" one last time in the theater...it is also laundry & sunday school & there is a program about exercise at church on sunday...i also plan on going & buying some new rollerblades! so i can blade with my friend renee...i also want to get a new bike (so i also need pads & a helmet for safety with those 2 things) and i need big long athletic socks for the blades, lol...and i need a new phone...so i guess i am shopping tomorrow!! WOOHOO!! i also am deciding if i want to get a gameboy for myself, lol, they are on sale at target this week...
well, i am hoping to not be so blog-lazy (blazy??) this coming week
OH! and HORRAY FOR ME! i worked out 3 times this week!!

some questions for a game of tag...
What scrapbook lines/products, etc. do you dislike? There are some that aren't really my style, but I like just about all of them.
What is the hardest thing you have ever had to scrap? I can't scrap sketches very well -- I don't like being confined...I also can't scraplift. Subject wise was probably doing pictures of my gramma right before her funeral.
What technique do you use more than anything else? I like mixing up alphabets in titles. I also like using a lot of ribbon & paints.
What is the smallest scrap of paper you save? It depends on the paper. I tend to save 99% of my scraps of Basic Grey and about 5% of other papers...
Have you ever had any scrapbook related injuries? Quite a few. I cut my leg on a plastic paper folder of pages (not too deep, but about 4-5 inches long!)...I have cut myself with scissors quite a few times...I hammered my finger onto a bottle cap once -- cut & bruised!!
Finish this sentence, "If I wasn't a scrapbooker/stamper, I would spend my money on..." traveling more.
Give us your best storage or organizational idea. I have my metal/plastic/eyelet/etc alphabets sorted by letter into drawers.
You just won a week long scrapbooking cruise for 5. Who is going with you? I would take a few of my scrapping buddies from the area -- Sue, Missy, Kelly, Mary Jo....the list could go on & on!!

will be gone soon
my gramma is dying. she is in maine. she has been in the hospital since right after Christmas. friday my aunt called & said that the doctor told her my gramma had less than a week to live. today when my dad talked to my aunt, the doctor had told her probably by tonight. so, i will be leaving within a day or two to go to maine for a funeral. i am looking forward to getting away and seeing parts of the family i seldom see, but i am hating the reason for the trip.
that said, i will try and blog soon, no matter where i am. i should have some internet access while i am gone, so i will try and make sure to check in here and with my emails.
