or rambling, if you will...
today was a low-key day...i have a cold, but i went up to teach power hour. however, there was only 1 kid from my class there today, so norah went down with her sister to the next class up from mine...this was a blessing for me because i got to go home & doze away the afternoon!! this helped me feel a ton better!! i also learned that they are actually going to do the nativity as the Christmas program because we finally have enough kids who are old enough :) they are not just doing the story, but they are going to be costumed like Mary & Joseph & shepherds...
last night i got to have friends over to share about photoworks.com which is american greeting's answer to shutterfly and snapfish and the like...the quality was really good -- i ordered matte prints, a mouse pad, a photo tile, some note cards, and a photo magnet -- and most of the items came really quick...they also packaged all my items wonderfully...what i didn't like was the shipping -- luckily mine was free -- because it was a lot!!! it was fun to just hang out with friends and show them some of the fun things you can order as gifts or whatever...
this week will be nice at work -- only 2 days!! tomorrow will be a kind of normal day, but tuesday i will be on team all day with one student and then it is TURKEY SMASH which is one of my least favorite days at work each year, lol...it is a loud, obnoxious, pep rally-esque atmosphere that gives me a horrid headache...we will see how it goes this year!!!!
then we are on to a 5 day weekend :) thanksgiving dinner with my godparents, chinese buffet for lunch one day, maybe some shopping...and setting up the tree on friday!!
not much else happening...hopefully to bed early tonight!
