HE is risen indeed!

a blessed Easter to everyone!

today is a joyful celebration of the life that Jesus won for all of us. HE battled the devil in hell as payment for all of our sins. so now we can all enjoy eternity in heaven with Him.

He has risen, just as He said!

what was foretold in the Old Testament
became reality in the New Testament
to save every single one of us.

Good Friday

the Lamb goes uncomplaining forth

today is the day we remember the true sacrifice that God made for each and every one of us. He sent His Son to live on earth so that He, Jesus, could die for all of our sins. we are imperfect and so deserving of hell, but Jesus changed all of that. He took the horrors of hell on Himself so that we could all live in heaven one day with Him. today may seem sad -- Jesus is dying -- but Sunday will be a wonderfully joy-filled day when He raises again after battling the devil.

Blessed Maundy Thursday

today is a day to remember the gift that Jesus gave to all believers. He gave His body and blood to us in the form of wine and bread to eat during communion, or the Eucharist, or communion, or the Lord's Supper, no matter the name you or your church uses, the purpose is the same....

"Take, eat. This is my body."
"Drink from it all of you."

tomorrow is a sad reminder of what Jesus did as well...but the joyous Easter morn is coming!!

Happy Palm Sunday!!

I hope you all had a very blessed Palm Sunday. I love Palm Sunday and remembering how Jesus rode into Jerusalem even though he knew he was going to be dying, and then raising again, for each and every one of us.

This is a photo from a couple years back. It is the steeple at my church, but this is sure what it looked like today, too! Rainy and cloudy all morning, then blue skies, then cloudy again...

saturday!

it was a nice end to the week -- work went well, tiring, but well -- friday was croppin' with barb & cathi & nancy & tina! we all did little things, not sure what everyone finished (if anything) other than what i finished -- a collage from a kit that missy had put together for a class and 3 12x12 pages using the march jenni bowlin kit -- need to work on some more pages with the pretty kit since the april box will be here soon!!!

this week will be weird (still) due to thetesting going on, but then thursday is an early release and friday is no school!! thursday night will be church (maundy thursday) and friday i will go to church in the afternoon (good friday) because i am going cropping on friday night!

tomorrow is palm sunday, so for power hour we are doing our easter egg hunt (people will be gone the next week to spend easter with family, etc)...i packed up gifts & eggs tonight...some of the parents are bringing eggs, too, so i think it will be fun!! i have a feeling, though, that it will be an indoor egg hunt because there is rain in the forecast tomorrow!

toodles!

not much....

not much going on recently -- no much scrapping :(, not much homework, not much of anything interesting!!

on a funny note, today the boy i work with stopped by the door out of the classroom we were in & shook his booty....i asked what he was doing and he told me "i just wanted to shake my booty"...so i was a good teacher and told him that we don't shake booties at school -- especially during (high stakes) testing when people need to focus...then we went about our day!!

cropping friday evening -- maybe that will help!!
