missed a day! & a prayer request!!

oh well!!

yesterday was really nice...i had to be at church to be installed as the power hour teacher, so meghan and her friend nikki came along (meghan comes to sunday school anyway)...went up and had a nice time...it was so sweet because meghan and nikki were tired and cold so they woudl lean on me during church...but meghan did an awesome job following along and participating in the service (she does not attend church a lot)...then was power hour and it was so fun!! i had 6 kids! yay! we did some stories about Jesus loving children and how Jesus loves all of them...they made paper plate faces and decorated paper "frames" that i am going to hang up...so cute!

after power hour i came home and did homework and later went to target and dierbergs to get food (we were low!)...

today was kind of long at work -- i wasn't able to keep as busy since the boy i work with was gone...i did my life skills classes and some other stuff -- our supervisor is coming tomorrow to meet with each of the teachers and some are a little more freaked out than others!! but i did get to work on homework for awhile this morning when i had nothing else to work on...

stormed this evening -- a cold front came through -- even the tornado sirens were going off...i am a chicken, so i went to the basement and cleaned out a box of scrapbook stuff while the storm raged outside! now i am blogging before i finish my homework that is due tomorrow night -- i have written the first part (a summary of an article) and i have my ideas sketched out for the reflection part, so it should go pretty quickly :) then to save and print! i need to read for both classes, but that just may not happen this week, lol...

saturday is my PRAXIS exam -- please say a prayer for my mind to be useful while i take the 2 hour test that proves i know enough to teach middle school language arts!!!
