28 feb. -- oops!!

so in total i missed 3 days...2 for being away from internet access, 1 for ??...

yesterday was a bad day for my cold, today is worse again (GRRRRRR)...

today is going to be fun, though, i have power hour & then i am going to do some shopping...then tonight is going to be filled with homework & the closing ceremonies of the olympics :D

still sick -- not really a sore throat anymore -- basically a head full of snot...klennex are my friends...

cropped this evening with tina & barb & cathi -- lots of fun & laughter...hadn't seen cathi in awhile & tina for 2 weeks...

did my 2nd lesson for my practicum today...went MUCH better than monday in my opinion...

my youthgroup pulled it together! tonight was our soup supper -- we had 2 soups from people outside the group -- but we had a family bring a desert who wasn't even there, another brought a soup, cookies & crackers, another brought a potato casserole & deserts, and i brought a soup & crackers & bread & a desert & my dad made something, too...so we had plenty of food & it was all so good!!! loads of compliments from members at church -- and major KUDOS to my girls!!!

i saw an on-line friend post on facebook (we met through a christian message board...in fact, we have met in person since she is from the same area i am in!) that they have a referral for 2 siblings to adopt!! i am so excited for her & her hubby & these 2 new family members they are gaining...it has been an intense wait, so it is even more exciting to see this finally happen -- what a blessing!!!!!!
