5 a.m.: wake up...get ready for the day...pack a lunch...
6 a.m.: (or shortly after): leave the house...drive to the commuter lot for carpooling...
6:45 a.m.: arrive at work...turn on computers...get psyched for the upcoming day...
7:10 a.m.: clock in...meet student from parent pick-up...escort to locker and first class...
7:30 - 9:05 a.m.: first block -- either science with a student or pe with a different student...both can be very interesting to be a part of...currently learning the scientific method and ping pong and ultimate frisbee...
9:05 - 10:45 a.m.: second block -- either teaching math to a group (dividing fractions & measuring with a protractor) or pe with a student...fun groups of good kids...
10:45 - 11:30 a.m.: art with a student -- current project is a monochromatic still life...
11:30 a.m. - 12 p.m.: lunch...time to relax a little & hopefully get some reading in :)
12 - 12:45 p.m.: choir with a student...they are doing some fun songs...one is called "One For the Altos" -- it is so funny ('cause it is true!)
12:45 - 2:15 p.m.: help out in a resource classroom...or making copies...or laminating things...or inputting grades...or doing whatever i am asked to do...
2:15 - 2:20 p.m.: walk student to parent pick-up...
2:20 - 2:40 p.m.: do some prep for the next day...clock out...start home...
3:10 p.m.: back to the commuter lot!
3:30 p.m.: HOME!
the evening may involve mad science (in a couple weeks once it starts back up) or church or cornerstone or confirmation class or errands or whatever else needs to happen!
