- thanksgiving for the people who went to Ukraine this month to teach VBS & their safe return

flash flooding!
so late last week we had some rain.
a lot of rain.
like 4-5 inches in under 2 hours.
some people (many people) had flooded basements due to sewer back ups.
our street & yard were flooded.
meghan & her friend nikki were doing some puddle jumping. and sliding in the backyard.
it was ankle deep on the side of our house.
a little deeper in the backyard.
it may be frustrating and sad to have a flood,
but puddle jumping is good for the soul!

father's day weekend was a one night trip to Kansas City to take a class with Tim Holtz -- left my friend Cheri's house at 3AM to get to class on time on saturday morning!!!!

new scrapper's challenge!
your june challenge was to create something PATRIOTIC! did you? did you try? did you have fun? i made some patriotic cards...i also used red, white & blue on some pages (although none were strictly patriotic pages)...
