i finished the second of my power points tonight -- and i want to email it to carolyn for her to review...

however, it is big! so it is taking forever to upload so i can email it to her...

maybe i can figure out a way to post it here???

power points

ok, so i am working on 2 power points at once!

one is about a chapter for my educational psych class -- it is due on friday (class was rescheduled for friday night from monday night because of the holiday)...i am doing it about "school burnout" and those kids who always say they hate school...and the entire presentation can only be FIVE MINUTES long! so little time!!!

the other power point is for church...i am meeting with carolyn on sunday and we will finish it up then...it is about our ukraine trip last summer, so it will be fun! i am done with a lot of the background info stuff -- i used info from my last trip to make it easier! it will be fun :) we present on february 3rd if you are local and would like to come!

swap pages & a squirrel!

these are the 8x8 pages i created for the SE yahoo group swap! i love 'em! i hope the other people who get them do, too!

i used: prism cardstock (pink & teal), bazzill cardstock (white scallop), archivers cardstock (dark brown), bazzill flowers (brown), ek success jewels (pink), ek success flower punch (small), basic grey patterned papers (pheobe line), CTMH stamps (doodle alphabet)

i HIT a SQUIRREL this morning on my way to work! should i fear it's family and friends coming to get me in the coming days!?!?

new teeth!

i got my new partial! two new teeth on the right side of my mouth...

my dentist let me keep the plaster mold/impression thingy that they used when making my teeth -- how fun!

new layouts!

last night i worked on some pages at a crop at FKS -- i finished 5 12x12 pages (and used up about 85-90% of this months Jenni Bowlin kit! all i have left are some embellishments and paper scraps), a summer circle journal (about 5x7 size), plus i started another 12x12 page! all i need to finish on that one is a title :) the photos are a little blurry, but, oh well!! i am trying to be good and keep track of how many pages and projects i actually complete this year...i did add one piece of cloud nine paper (baby picture down below)...

100 days!

that is all that is left before i head to nashville for Scrap ETC! and i have not even attempted the homework!!!!!! i need to get crackin' because i really want to come home with complete projects, not just half-done things -- i have enough of those already!

other than that countdown -- SUPER busy lately!! even have 2 offers for babysitting on ONE night! sheesh! now to get that all worked out! i am waiting to hear from one, then i can contact the other (again)...

i also have 2 things at the scrapbook store this week, and i need to scrounge up some cashola to pay for the march retreat (which is where the babysitting comes in handy!)...

then on wednesday i have an INTERVIEW for a part time job doing fun science stuff with kids at after school programs and summer camps and such! it would be an awesome opportunity, so i hope and pray it all goes well and i have the chance to have fun!
