i was tagged by dear, sweet paula!

1. If you could have £100 (~$206 USD) worth of scrapbook paper or assorted embellishments, which would you choose? i would want paper packs (basic grey, ki, love elsie, etc), or kits (you know how much i love my jenni bowlin kits!)

2. If you had to choose between using only stamps or rubons, which would you choose? rubons, i use them quite a bit, and i don't use stamps often at all!

3. If you knew how to do both awesome cards and layouts but could only do one for a whole year...which would you do? layouts, i am not a card maker!

4. Would you rather own a scrapbooking store or have your own scrapping room at home...(can't have both he he he) i want my own room (to be done) -- i would not want the responsibility of owning a business!!

5. And last but not least, what is your CURRENT cardmaking or scrapping style. using my kits!! i am all for coordinating items, so i am a kit user at this point!! i have also been really into mini books :)

next semester

i think that next semester i will take just 2 classes instead of 3 -- i think i need the break! this semester has been pretty busy, good, but busy -- so next semester i think i will be taking linguistics and one other course! woohoo! then a bunch over the summer

new class

i started my new class tonight -- psychology of the exceptional student -- seems interesting so far!

i will be doing homework this weekend and trying to get ahead!!

i will be hanging out all weekend with barb & nancy & kathy & judy & nancy & timi & nicole & sue & missy & jan & kathy & all sorts of fun friends!!! i vow to get things done :0)

a tiring day!

today was a field trip! we went to busch wildlife and did water ecology stuff...we looked at water plants, pond invertibrates, local watersheds, and water quality...we also got to FISH! some kids caught fish -- mainly green sunfish...i took some photos today, but they are not uploaded yet...

my boy was not even there today! he was sick! but i still got to go and hang out and have fun :o)

omaha was fun! i got to spend time with lisa & jackie & bev & rex & meet brett (lisa's fiance) :o) it was exciting to see people i see about once a year, and it was interesting to go to homecoming and see a lot of the changes at dana

this weekend is dana's homecoming, so i am going to go & have fun & see some friends!!

tonight my class, Family Counseling, ended -- it was a very interesting class :o) i am glad i took it (other than the fact i needed it) -- and i believe i have an A (i have an A on every assignment that i have gotten back) -- as london tipton would say "yay me!"

happy monday!!

nice day today at work -- the kids were working hard and excited but fairly calm and relaxed -- it was AWESOME!! had a math test and my boy did great :o) i think he even got a 100%, which is what he wants to get! half the 6th graders were on a field trip, so there were only 13 kids in PE which was really interesting, but so relaxing and quiet! so VERY funny answers on a language arts test today, so it was a laugh and a half from the start!

after work i went to do an interview with The Pujols Family Foundation, and now i am working on the paper about the interview -- PFF does WONDERFUL things for the local community with their work with people with Down syndrome and wonderful things for small villages in the Dominican Republic with water purification and medical and dental assistance...i also filled out my volunteer application with them, so within 4 weeks i should hear something!

Lance from Rusty Pickle came and taught at FKS -- LOVED the classes i took!! they were so fun & i would take another class from him anytime! way to go Lance!

i got my errands done, i have cleaned what i can in the kitchen and made a surprise trip to soccer practice with meghan! what fun! nothing else new to report around here :o)

well today was work. nothing too exciting there, but i did go to FKS this evening to pick up my new TIM HOLTZ alcohol ink storage case! woohoo!! i also got some dominoes to use for charms (free with a full punch card), so i am good to go!

my longaberger party is friday, so it will be interesting to see who comes and if people buy anything...tomorrow afternoon/eveing i will be cleaning the kitchen -- i have so much scrap stuff to get out of there! i also need to go to the grocery store and target and michaels tomorrow, so that should be interesting...friday i will be putting food together and vaccuuming then the party!! any locals who wanna come, shoot me an email!

get a pair of new jeans to stop smelling?






i bought some new jeans this year -- one has a very dark wash, and the distinct odor of singed hair! they have been: washed (tide & clorox), dried (2 bounce sheets), sprayed with febreeze & body splash -- any other ideas?!?
